This stainless steel anti-ligature towel bar is designed to "break away" with excessive load. The specially designed towel bar will release from the wall bracket when a load of between 10 and 15 pounds is applied. The unit is fabricated entirely from satin-finish type 304 series stainless steel. The 16 gauge towel bar is 1/2" in diameter and is capped with a spring-loaded ball plunger. The 7 gauge wall bracket has three mounting holes and is sloped to preclude vertical attach points.
